Redemptorists launch new water resource in Mozambique.

Communities at the Redemptorist mission in Muvamba, Inhambane, Mozambique, faced great hardship when it comes to water. Many girls have to walk up to 13km to fetch water. The Redemptorist Solidarity Office for Africa and Madagascar, based in Cork, Ireland, are committed to working with the Redemptorists in Mozambique to deliver: Solar water pumps, Hand Water pumps, and Water cisterns to communities without water. This is achieved through donations from the public and with the help of an organisation called Misean Cara.  This week, Fr. Jorge C.Ss.R. blessed a new water resource at Marrelane, a very rural community, which was without access to water. The pictures tell their own story, about what a precious gift, this water pump and clean water is to this community.
