It was a joyful day on the 2nd February 2019, the feast of the Presentation of the Lord as confreres in the Vice Province celebrated the gift of the Religious Life. Confreres from three communities ( Redeemer House Community, Ligouri House Community and Alakia Community) all in Oyo State, Ibadan, Nigeria converged at the Ligouri House refectory for the celebration of our Consecrated life.
The Vice Provincial Superior Fr. Joterio Aghoja C.Ss.R specially celebrated Fr. Richard Williams Thiele C.Ss.R a great icon and an exemplary Redemptorist, who has lived his religious life for almost 70 years, 65 years as a Redemptorist priest and he is now 92 years old.
All the confreres were celebrated too as the atmosphere was filled with joy and was celebrated with a meal together.
