On December 9th 2012, the Redemptorist COREAM Coordination team will travel from Nairobi to Juba in South Sudan. At the COREAM assemblies in Madagascar in 2012 and Nairobi 2011, members of the Redemptorist Assembly expressed a strong conviction and determination to respond to mission requests to international congregations to open new missions in the emerging South Sudan. The Redemptorists empathise with the struggle and pain and frightening history that the people of south Sudan have faced. We are privileged to be invited by the people of South Sudan to pitch our missionary charism in the newest country in the world.
