From March 11 to 27, 2026, the Redemptorists of the Kenya Mission led a Lenten mission in three parishes in Nairobi: the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Buruburu, St. Andrew Bessette Parish in Dandora, and St. John the Evangelist Parish in Karen. Through preaching, spiritual direction, and the administration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, many faithful experienced a profound inner renewal in preparation for Easter.
The three stages of the mission unfolded sequentially: beginning in Buruburu, continuing in Dandora and concluding in Karen, the Redemptorist confreres accompanied the parish communities on a journey of prayer, reflection and encounter with the sacraments, fostering a renewed deepening of their personal relationship with Christ.

The response of the faithful was a significant testimony of faith and commitment. Many Christians took advantage of the mission to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and grew on the path of spiritual growth, responding to the Lenten call to conversion and a renewed commitment to the Gospel.
With their sights set on Easter, the Redemptorist Mission of Kenya trusts that the fruits of this time of grace will continue to mature in the lives of the participants.
